Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
1/2 cup nonfat plain yogurt
2 tablespoons low-fat milk
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon salt
freshly ground pepper -- to taste

Combine yogurt, milk, lemon juice, honey, oil, oregano and garlic in a small bowl. Season with salt and pepper.

Makes 3/4 cup (6 two-tablespoon servings).

AuthorNote: Garlic and fresh herbs star in this creamy yogurt-based dressing that comes together in just minutes. If you make more than you need, store the extra dressing for a couple of days. Place it - along with some cut-up raw veggies - front and center in the fridge. That way when you're craving a snack it's even easier than opening a bag of chips.
