I have just recently started the fast 5 diet. It was introduced to
me by my accupunturist. I am obese, although I am 6'0" so most
people just see me as overweight. My height hides a lot of my weight
and I do have a large frame. My father is 6'9" so I get it honestly.
My accupunturist after meeting me for the first time tells me to try
this diet. With my work schedule I normally do not eat until 1 or 2
anyway. But I was trying to make sure I ate 3 meals at day with 2
small snacks. The problem is that I love vegetables but I love
sweets even more. So my snack would be an apple during the day and
krispy kreme during the night. I guess you can see the problem. Stan
(accupunturist) was telling me about this plan and thought it would
be great for me. I can tell you that since starting it has not been
easy, I have overeaten, and I am still trying to figure out how I am
going to get in all of the fruits, veggies, and protein that isn't
 meat(I am a new vegetarian).

The hardest part is keeping it from my friends and family who only
see this type of program as un healthy. Everyone believes in small
meals throughtout the day and everyone is pushing me to do that. How
do you keep your diet a secret? How can you get all your fruits,
veggies, and protein in each day? And for the life of me, how can I
make it to the gym when I have no energy because I haven't eaten?

 ADVICE PLEASE.
