1 lb lean ground pork
1 Tbsp coconut oil
1 head green cabbage, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
1 cup carrot, chopped
1 cup celery, chopped
6 cups chicken stock
1 Tbsp water
2 tsp arrowroot powder
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste
Fresh chopped dill
1. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the pork and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until lightly browned.
2. Spoon the pork into the crock pot and stir in the onion, carrot and celery.
3. Season with pepper to taste and pour the chicken stock over the ingredients.
4. Cover and cook on low heat for 5 to 6 hours until the pork is cooked through.
5. Whisk together the water and arrowroot powder and stir into the crockpot.
6. Add the cabbage then cover and cook on low heat for 45 minutes until tender.
7. Garnish with fresh chopped dill to serve.
