The best web site to find information concerning anything to do with epilepsy is at my.epilepsy.com It explains all aspects of epilepsy. Concerning surgeries for either a left or right temporal lobectomy or frontal lobe surgery also. And brain mappings which is done for many people having surgery. Even specifics concerning tests needed to be had to see if a person is a candiate for surgery. Each of the tests are told about. Fromm VEEG, MRI, WADA and neuropsycological evaluation.
I had a left temporal lobectomy 4 1/4 years ago and have been seizure free since (so far). Surgery has changed my life for the better! If I can help you in anyway, email me and I will do whatever I can to help you. Take care, keep a smile on your face!

My husband did not want to go with me or correction is not really able to go with me because money is tight so my youngest son (14 yr) is going along with me...surgery is not a done deal but more and more it looks like that's they way I will end up going
