[epilepsy] Re: Going to see your parents

thanks for all your support, I have been trying to talk about it a lot at home with my husband and my kids but no matter how much I talk about it I break down and cry some times... my other fear is that my mom does no live close by and I would need here... I'm also letting her about surgery because if I do decide to go through surgery I would want her to be here with me but what if she does not want to be here??I don't know part of me if just scare of going through the surgery period....

Is there anything he can add specific to your situation? Are there articles on the internet you can access that are similar to your situation that would be of help? If you are leaning toward surgery, why are you going that direction? Write it down at home in a pro versus con list such as this

Also, allow yourself to realize how scarey this is at home so that when you get home, you are not sliding back into old roles AND feeling guilty about them. THIS is a scarey choice and you have a right to feel scared. But if you do your homework first, you will feel armed and empowered too.
