I would try making your own chocolate like the other person suggested. (I’d probably not use honey though even....i’d cut out the sugar entirely and use stevia or whatever else suits your fancy there to sweeten but does not have the negative affects of sugar)
It seems like your situation really is calling for something satisfying like this.
Also, what about upping your fat while taking out sugar?
Several on here, including me, can tell you more about that..... The fat keeps you more satisfied and , for many, is enough to jump start weight loss and keep it going. However, if you do go that route, it would need to be a lower carb route in order to get you where you are trying to get.....

Thank you, Susie. If I could get to the point where "berries" (with anything on it) would suffice as a dessert, that would be great.
I'm a hard core chocoholic and a quantity eater.
I try to keep my 5 hour window between 9 and 2. I have an optional 1/2 cup of apple juice (if I can remember) in the morning with liquid vitamins mixed in and then one big meal at lunch. Even with desserts, this has kept my weight down to a "normal" looking range, but definitely not to weight I "want" to be. I use the word "want" loosely, because if I truly wanted to be there, I assume I would be.
I have no peace of mind at the moment. I keep searching for answers, anything that will help.
Sincerely,
Wallie

I will say that I think eating *too much* sugar during my window makes me a little hungrier the following day, so I try not to do it every day. I'm able to self-moderate now, and if my appetite seems to increase, I know I've overdone it on the sweets.

Sometimes, for dessert on the weekdays, I will have a bowl of fresh berries, sometimes with some creme freche and a sprinkling of brown sugar. I'm trying not to have hard and fast rules about anything, because I like the freedom I get from FF, and I want to focus my time and energy on other areas of my life, like enjoying a walk at the lake or spending time with friends.

The berries seem like a wonderful treat, whereas when I was eating constantly, it would not have been enough of a dessert.
