Re: [fast5] Re: Diabetic?

Milk thistle is probably not enough.  Consider lowering you carbs, or at least doing just a few PP tests with high carb and lower carb to see what the difference  is.  It is eye opening.

I know the strips are expensive, but if you think about what you will learn and what you could prevent with some very judicious use of  25 -50  strips, it is well worth it.  You only need to test enough to get a sense of your own pattern.   Reading Jenny's site  carefully will give you some ideas.  Then,  you will understand exactly what you are looking for  when you test and not just waste a lot of test strips or get obsessive about testing.

Yes, I am eating high carb, any carb. I am not testing much because the strips are so expensive. (even the cheapest Walmart ones) I will try to do some random Postprandial BS. Doctor doesnt think I can get free strips (Medicaid) unless I am Type II diagnosed.

I am on a liver healing supplement. (Milk Thistle, Tumeric) I also have a history of elevated liver enzymes and liver pain somewhat.

Thanks for your help. I will look into Jenny Ruhl site!
