Re: [epilepsy] New

Hanan,

Welcome to the group. I am 41 now and have epilepsy since I was a baby.
Stress and hormones seem to play a big part in the seizures I have had over
the years. The contraceptive pills seemed to make my seizures a lot worse
than they were without them.
I usually have most of my seizures during the day. The 1st neurologist gave
me a mild sedative so I would sleep at night. There are different things
that some people have to warn them when a seizure is going to happen. I
sometimes get a strange taste in my mouth, and my family says my eyes look
glazed. When I do feel funny I know to sit down. I really can't describe the
feeling. The other stuff I don't know that much about, but if I can help
with anything write anytime. Take care.
