I have been on 10 different meds for my seizures and this last one works the best with very few side effects, and my dose is the max you can take. It is called Trileptal and I take 1200mg twice daily with klonopin to help with the anxiety , stress, crabbiness. Even with those I still have one seizure a week, but that's great compared to what it was. Good luck with finding the right combo of meds. It's trial and error for this problem.

Megan seems to get angry very quickly over very little since she's
been on Keppra, particularly when her dosage was 3000 and now 4000 mg
a day. She and her boyfriend are both very eager for her to get off
of Keppra altogether, or at least to drastically reduce her dosage.
She has had better seizure control on depakote and didn't have any
libido issues from it.
An interesting thing is that Megan also takes Adderall for her ADD,
and she says it counteracts the crabbiness that the Keppra causes,
until the Adderall wears off. Then we're back to snappish, crabby and
downright angry at times:)
Sorry about your seizure while biking home from work the other day.
Megan had a seizure on a bike ride last spring, but she and her bike
were both unhurt.
