Garlic and Honey Marinade

1 small onion -- minced
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/4 cup sesame oil
2 tablespoons light soy sauce
2 garlic cloves -- crushed
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Combine all ingredients.

Yield about 1 cup (4 one-quarter cup servings).

Here is a sweet and sour mix for [favorfites]. Pour it over [favorite] and marinate several hours or overnight, turning the meat occasionally. If desired, you can heat this marinade and brush it over [favorites] while grilling. Tightly covered, it will keep in the refrigerator for up to one week.
