We have discussed it. I even got him on vacation! That's when he OK'd Melatonin, and when I saw my endo about a week ago, I asked her. She started me on it and is having me wean off Ambien, but I STILL can't sleep, so I will call my nsg again Monday and ask what else to do. Apparently, both Ambien and Melatonin can also aggravate fever, but I have had this problem since before starting either of them. (I'm also wondering if my dose might be slightly high, since I have always been drug-sensitive, and I will be addressing that, too.)
I'm about to start digging for info about Keppra and its influence on thyroid function as well, because that may also come into play. I was dx'ed hypothyroid 2 years ago and am finding that I can't seem to take my med early enough to prevent symptoms of borderline hyperthyroid. So much to learn...so little energy...and so few working brain cells. :(
LIZARD :)

Liz,
Have you reported this to your Dr.? If not you should and
if you have -- what did he say?
