Whenever I go away from home, even for just a night I keep my meds. in at least 2 different places. Each one having all the meds. I need for the entire trip, plus a few extra more! For instance, in a small backpack would keep all the meds. I need in just one of the pill bottles from one of the meds. like Keppra. In another place would keep all the meds. I need in a Trileptal bottle. If I had a 3rd place to keep them I would do that also just to play it safe. Each separate place is in one of the pill bottles I take which are Keppra & Trilptal. I would rather play its safer rather than being sorry later. When I've traveled outside the country, I always took a prescription from my Dr. just in case (if that would mean anything if outside the U.S.A.). Its worked for me, for my coming on 34 years this fall (gosh that's hard to believe its that long ago)! Also, would always have my Drs. phone number to call if for instance I was on the spot, out of town. He could always fax a local pharmacy that same day! Take care, keep a smile on your face!

> It's better if you work to use both types of containers, daily and weekly. I have a few of each, on Saturdays (today) I divide my weekly supply of medicines. These are separated by day, in two lines AM & PM. Then I put these into three weekly pill containers, one of the lines is PM, since I'm always home in time to take my nightly dose, it goes into one weekly container which goes into my Living room where I'm always at during PM doses. The AM dose is divided between two weekly containers. One is for the doses taken at home, weekdays off and weekend days, it goes into my bedroom. The other is for days at work, maybe M,T,Th,F. Wednesday will be a day off, so its already been included with those to be put in my bedroom.

While unconscious, the officer quickly examined me to find out if it the seizure was related to alcohol or drug abuse. Lack of smell showed that it probably wasn't alcohol. To decide if drugs were related,They pat you down, if any pills are found lose or in any type of container, they view them as drugs of abuse. I was transporting my morning and afternoon doses for that day at work at FDA in Washington, D.C.. Now, I take each days supply of meds. to work on Monday in a weekly pill container.
