There are at least two brands of generic Lamictal. One comes in the form of
pink scored diamond-shaped tablets. They have the exact same color as the
brand name tablets, but the shape is totally different. I received these on
several refills. Now, though, I've been getting Lamictal as nondescript
unscored round white powdery tablets.
I liked the pink ones better; I kept a small stockpile. My wife, who is also
on Lamictal for a different reason (headaches) liked them too because
they're scored. When she couldn't find hers, she'd steal a pink diamond,
snap it in half, and each half was a full dosage for one day. She thinks
Lamictal is helping her a lot although she barely takes any.
I never notice anything with generics, so I can't tell you whether they
really work as well or not.
