No, thank God; none of that. I just have to prod him out of bed and make sure he gets dressed, make his breakfast, and get him out the door.

does getting him up that early a big chore for you, do you have to help him with bathing and changing his bedding if he wets the bed everyday. i know with me i have always wet the bed and then my teens i would wet the bed on and off. my mother would have to help me with cleaning my ears and washing my hair in the bath tub since i couldn't get my ears cleaned and couldn't get my hair washed right and cleaned. that what my difficult situation i had as a child growing up.

Hey, Lynette. :)
Thanks for this. Does Klonopin leave you hung over? My son (15, autistic) starts school Wed and I have to get him up at about 6 am.
'Preciate it!

Liz,
My Nuero gave me a little Klonopin in the pm to help me sleep. I am very happy with Keppra and sleep very well now. Sweet dreams to you.
My best to you,
Lynette

Okay...there' s some hypocrisy going on here. Yes, I am sure that some people may find that MSG and other things can aggravate their szs, but it's clear that it isn't many of us. I think that, if this is a subject that interests some people, it should be discussed through private e-mailing.
At the same time, I am desperately struggling to sleep through the night for 2 months, and it's documented that fever and insomnia are both possible effects of Keppra, yet because so many of you claim not to have had these problems, you're telling me they don't exist. GOOGLE IT!!!!!!!! There is info out there, and my pharm even pointed it out. I came here for HELP, and dismissal (for the most part) is what I have been getting. If you're going to support Craig's discussion about MSG, why not mine?? I would be more than happy to discuss it off-list. Keppra is the ONLY med to EVER control my SPs, and I would like to stay on it for that reason, but I need validation and tips on getting--and staying--asleep. Already tried AmbienCR and Melatonin.
LIZARD, ready to leave

Hello,
I would say a little more respect is needed by those on this list who can't
seem to handle Craig's issue with MSG. This is a scientifically documented
problem: some people with epilepsy have more seizure activity when they
consume foods with MSG. I too support Craig's right to discuss MSG +
seizure related issues. If this is such a problem for a few of you, simply
delete his message when it appears in your email.
Peace,
Tim H.

One is called to live nonviolently, even if the change one works for seems
impossible. It may or may not be possible to turn the U.S. around through

inability of violence to change anything for the better.
