[epilepsy] driving with medicne

Of the 30 years I have had my driving privledges, only 24 months I was not allowed to drive. That started 4 months after my surgery. The doctors thought then I was having non-epileptic seizures then, but I still was not allowed to drive. So for 28 out of 30 years I have never had a fear of a Grand Mal except for the one time when my lobelia saved my life that I thanked God I had lobelia that day. Lobelia I use to carry with me for a long while before my surgery. It goes to work faster than any medicine ever could do to stop a Grand Mal from happenning.  If cops see that, they would  have no idea what it is and used for.  I use to have auras while driving, and 99.5% of the time when I had them, I would be in a state like Maryland where I had room to pull off the road. While driving in PA auras never seem to have happen and it was rare when they did. That told me God was watching over me in those times.

I wondered over the years and wonder still today, if I was involved in an accident where someone else was at fault, and I get a cop to want to search everything, What will happen if they find seizure drugs in the glove box or under the arm rest ?   To prevent that and WW 3 from ever starting I have never carried medicnes no matter what my sister tells me. She worries 24/7 for no reason at all. Of couse if I go away for several days, or to her place, I carry it in my suitcase or some other package.  Maybe I would do what the majority rule would be on the issue in here. I'm 50-50 on the issue. Otherwise just local driving from point A to B does not make much sence to keep medicine in a glove box or arm rest. For anyone who fears the idea of driving, as long as you stay on medicines and the condition is controled, you can drive as well as I can or better. The people on cell phones are worse than the drunks driving today, but who restricts them ?
