Thanks, Jason. :)
It's just generic Keppra, and only 1000 mgs a day. I'm supposed to be withdrawing from the Ambien. Will it actually help the Melatonin? I think one (or both) is aggravating the fever I get every night. That's what generally wakes me up. I'm also on B-complex and LOTS of other vitamin supplements, including a multi-.
LIZARD :)

Dear LIZARD,
No, you aren't crazy... Keppra really pounds on you in a different way than
the other meds do (except for Vimpat probably).
Are you on Keppra XR? I took the regular "R" kind... maybe XR is harder to
notice, but that hour or two of relief between doses as it wore off might
have been worth it.
I did the vitamin B6 thing, and I took melatonin before going to bed, and I
still remember fighting sleeplessness. The psychiatric side effects were the
ones that got to me. I do not have fond memories of the year I was on Keppra
at all.
Ambien is crap BTW... at least have someone watch you for one night while
you're asleep on it to make sure you don't sleepwalk or start doing
something else weird. I had a girlfriend once who took Ambien, started to
sleep, and then one hour late reliably started talking to relatives who
weren't in the room, dead people, etc. It was so annoying. She never
remembered it at all and thought I was making it up.
