You need your sleep for sure. That is one trigger a doc will tell you. When I had RLS (and still do) my doc
immediately asked if was hindering my sleep. I was like you Craig. Sleep couple hours, up for couple, sleep
couple more and up and do whatever I could to stop the ol' legs of mine from doing whatever they were doing.
That is when he put me on Clomazepine at night.

Subject: [epilepsy] hypocrytes here ?
No way would I say hypocrytes are in this room. Self-centered people ? you can answer that. I tried to take
3000 mgs of keppra and it was one of the worst drugs I ever took. I could not sleep well as I was lucky to get
2 hours of good sleep in a 24 hour day. My doctor at N I H put me on Lorazepam / Ativan and that worked great.
If I took more than I should had I slept longer. I do not take that anymore as I am not on keppra nor am I
yaking 300 + mgs of lamictal which can cause sleepless nights as well. A few drops of lavender oil on a tissue
will help people sleep better when you use it on your pillow. Try that before any drug. I was also put on
paxil to try to help me sleep. You all had seen the ads on TV several years ago. It claimed you feel like
yourself again. Really ? I was feeling depressed more, sleepless more, anxious more, hot tempered more, I had
weird multiple dreams one after another, more tired from lack of needed sleep plus some
other things. Oh how great I felt when I went off of it on my own without any doctors approval. They were
shocked when I told them how good I was one year after surgery. Stay away from PAXIL if they still make it.
