One thing I know about being a candidate for surgery is that your
seizures have to start from a particular locus in the brain. Megan's
seizures are generalized, not starting at a particular point in her
brain, so she is not a candidate for surgery. From what our new neuro
told us, people with partial seizures are usually the people for whom
surgery is an option.
