I think they used to do that to Epileptics, which was wrong, and I'm glad the stopped. Epilepsy is very complicated. It can be congenital, or contracted from injury or a virus. Either way, I have never heard of it being genetic. And even if it sometimes is, sterilization would be a gruesome and cruel form of discrimination. That's how I feel, regarding any type of disability. Humanity comes in many forms. All of them are worthy. Challenges are opportunities.

> Hi Y'all,

> I'm so glad to see this topic in here. Yes, I believe age has to be considered. Certain changes are normal, for anyone, like a drop in desire. I have brought this up with my GP and NP. Each had the same response, but not without acknowledging that my temporal lobe injury and seizure meds (Keppra) could be contributuing to my lack of desire. Yet, as time goes on, it's changing. It's not exactly like it was before, but it did come back. It's been 6.5 years since my injury. My attraction to men was always first with their intellect. True originality is my biggest turn-on. No matter what he looks like. And that type usually is consumed with their ideas first, anyway. So the sex is hot and fast, just the way I like it. I have always been bored with men who need it over and over and over again. Don't they have something else to think about? Please. See...I'm back to normal. It just takes time. And, as always, having people in your life who truly love and
> accept you for who you are. Your lack of desire isn't about them. It's about you. You are with them because you care about them, in the first place, right?
