Dim Sum Dipping Sauce - Chinese - 5g Carbs, trace Fiber

1/2 cup soy sauce
1 Tablespoon agave nectar -- plus 1 teaspoon or sweetener of choice to taste
1 Tablespoon toasted sesame oil
1 teaspoon rice vinegar
1 small clove garlic -- minced, optional
1 teaspoon peeled and minced fresh ginger -- optional
1 teaspoon seeded and diced hot chile pepper -- or 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, optional
Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl and whisk well.
Makes 3/4 cup (6 two-tablespoon servings)
Salty, spicy, and slightly sweet. Yum!
