On Face Book, from what I have figured out anyway :) should you be in a 'Closed' group (which means you have to sign up to join and then be accepted), anything said in that group is only seen by that group. Should it be called an (Open group) that means it is open to public anywhere. Most Epilepsy groups are the 'closed' ones, and that way junk mail doesn't sneak through or people who want to throw rocks at you can. The closed ones are the safe ones to be in. The one I am in there is the Epilepsy Foundation one run by Tonya. In fact she has put a message or two on this group now and then. It is a super group with lots of help and support and love which all of us need.

Hi Millie,
In Facebook groups, only people within that particular group can see and read what's in the particular group. In a surgery group, there are only 60 people, only they see what's said in the group. Outside a particular group, that is when everybody can see it and that is only if you want them to see it. You can have it so nobody not a friend can see it. It's confusing I know! But in Facebook you can send emails which are one on one also, just like a regular email. Take care Millie, keep a smile on your face!

Just a friendly reminder: Please remember to sign your post and remember to clean up messages when you reply to them. This is especially important if you are on digest. This not only helps out the list owner but, it makes messages much easier to read when they arrive in our inboxes.
