Yes, I could drive after 1 year of not having szs. That has been so long ago --over 30 years --
I don't remember if I had to take a test. The Dr. decides now when you can drive. We don't
have to wait for a year anymore.

Since that I had been a home health aid where I drove to people's homes for 25 years. I
worked for an agency.

However I am not driving now. I sold my car 2 years ago. We have a lot of snow here in IN
in the winter and my car was outside. My girls were concerned that I would fall between the
cars and no body would see me. They now clear between the cars -- but didn't when I had
the car.

I live at a retirement center where the cars are parked side by side. This is my 15th year here.
I love it and wouldn't live any other place. Since I am now 80 -- I much prefer to go by bus, shuttle,
or friends. But I don't like to ask or schedule for a ride. I don't like to pay for each ride -- but it
is cheaper than paying for insurance and gas.

Are you talking about the written test or the test where someone goes with you?

Over 30 years ago I took a 9 month course to be a Medical Assistant. As I always do if I am to
be with someone for any length of time -- I told him that I have EP. He said -- then I think Vocational
Rehab with help you.

They did . They paid for my whole course plus gas. That was really a help. I had just become
a single parent of 3 teenagers with only $100 a month coming from my ex.
