[epilepsy] Re: phenobarbital?

 

I've been on the same dosage of phenobarbital for over 40 years. No side effects, no sz except an occasional - like a couple of times a year, short "drop out" sz. Like a second or two in duration. That being said, I do live healthy. No caffeine, no tea, no smoking etc. I do cardio daily etc.

Pheno is actually the safest drug there is for a sz disorder. They wanted to put me on tegretal many years ago and I refused due to the side effect of blood dyscrasias with Tegretal.
