Re: [epilepsy] Epilepsy and Memory

Oh Mark

Please do not feel you are alone in that department!! That is a for sure. I go in and out. Sometimes can
have good memory short term and other times can't think of a word to say or have in the past even been able to
put 6 different subjects in one sentence if you can imagine. That is Short memory span. Think the brain is
trying to think of what to say and busy recording everything while the other person is talking and by time
they stop you have no idea what they have said except possibly the odd word or something connected with that
word or starting with same sound. Never fear it is part of it all .... BUT it does go away and a heck of a
lot easier to get back than the long term. That I have no or very little memory of at all, mostly what people
have told me.

Does anyone else in the group have troule with their memory. I mean, REALLY bad trouble. I can hear
something one minute and forget it the next. I suspect that's that's the reason I had to drop-out of college.
