It's all about growth and maturity. If you are like many other men and women who grow mentally as well as physically, it's all a progression. We get better, we improve until we become "old" one would think. Musically speaking Prince, I do not think will take another major turn or go a different direction then where he is now. Unless he leaves the Christian way of life and goes a different "spiritual direction" or "religious direction". I pray and hope they'll be more albums and more music I do not care if it's "ground breaking", the ground has already been "broken" by Prince, he could not do it again. Unless there is something else he could say that would be "original" to what has not been said in the last 20yrs.

Good conversation piece Before I get into it, did you see Prince at the Minn vs Chicago game? there was talk of a possible performance @1pm tomorrow(Monday) the Afterparty w/Jay Glazer FoxSports.com on MSN I believe people do develope and change and sometimes it's good some is bad, some change came not from within the person but from someone elses opinion, which isn't always good. If a person is repressing themselves or an expression not because it's bad but because someone else doesn't agree, then I don't think that is good. Also the people you pool into your life/camp have affects on your life. In this case Prince, and I think some of the the good and bad choices were the result of that too. For example I think Prince would have had a wider more mature affect on music say if his 1980's bandmembers/ friends remained. I think the people that came into play starting inthe 90's didn't help Prince truly express Prince... say when Tony M. made a statement to other band member that he was going to shove black down Prince. That idea is a totally disresect to the legacy and image Prince had founded for himself. And we see some of the results of that. Social Political Racial ideas can stamp out true creativity and freedom if not expressed correctly. U know me, and I'm a champion for the Prince who created a sound and a vision we find from For U - Lovesexy, but not really do we see it afterward. I'm one who stands firm in saying Prince created a sound that was uniquely his(with the aid of bandmembers protege/friends) we here it strong throught For U - Lovesexy and some in Batman. After the 80's I hear it hear and there: I hear it in songs like Space, Tangerine, Money Don't Matter Tonight, Strollin. I love the Minneapolis Sound set, but there is something lacking (something that would fill in the space) Rainbow Children in my opinion has it, that album could have been 1989 Lovesexy follow up, the sound is Prince --- On Sun, 11/29/09, ~*[[PFL]]*~ <qaidsharif@yahoo. com> wrote:
