You all are very correct-- you don't know what you could or have done when you have a complex partial. I think I just wrote about the first time I had a complex partial a couple days ago-- so I won't repeat it.
I had my first GM sz when I was 26 and PG with my 2nd daughter. I had a few more when I was carrying my 3rd daughter. But I wasn't DX until I was 32. I have no idea what causes them. I just accept that I have EP and need to take meds.

And you can be in a complex partial, grab your keys, go to your car, start it then put it into reverse! No question about that! Oh my gosh, the stories people talk about about what they they did during complex partials can be very interesting!
My stories of being in a complex partial and riding my bicycle are amazing! Once I was heading north on a bike trail. The next thing I knew, I was heading south, I felt like I was seeing through a fog, the slowly fog went away and realized where I was. Got off my bike quickly realizing I had a seizure. I was about 3/4 of a mile from where I last remember. My water bottle was missing, but no scratches. I got back onto my bike to the corner, I went into a 7/11. I guy ran up to me asking me if I was OK, I said sure, he said are you sure? I said yes and he left. I simply rode my bike just another 3 miles and was home. I was fine after that.
Another time biking I was coming near a stoplight where the cross traffic was a 4 lane very busy street. Next thing I knew, I was walking my bicycle across from the intersection on the sidewalk. I had been riding on the street. I haven't any idea how I got across the intersection or where I even had the seizure or even where or how I crashed my bike! My front rim was totaly bent out of shape! I was all scratched up then walked my bike 1/2 mile to get home. To shorten the story, a few hours later I got a ride to the ER. Wound up I shattered my left collar bone into 3 pieces!
We never know what our minds can do during a seizure! Take care, keep a smile on your face!

In what I read I wondered if what happened might be a seizure, gosh I hope it wasn't!!! Time will tell, boy, we hear a description of an event and sometimes they sound like a seizure might have ac cured? Gosh I hope it wasn't anything of the sort! What do you think? Well, take care, keep a smile on your face!
