I have had seizures since I was a baby. I am 40 now. My seizures started
after a head injury when I was 6 months old. I would have wrote sooner, but
I have been out of town. I had surgery on my left temporal lobeabout 5 years
ago. You have to go through a lot of tests to see if you are a candidate for
the surgery. I had it and done and it helped my seizures tremendously. I
still have them, but they are not as bad or as many. There is always a risk
in having surgery. I was having so many every month, so I figured things
couldn't get much worse.I am still having seizures, but since they are not
near as bad or as many, I am glad I had it done. I hope this helps. Take
care.
