you might try the farmers markert if one handy for a mellon. Probably not many there.
We had them down in Ga when i was little. Most people don't fool with them, there's little difference in taste. little late now unless way south, but might put few seed in flower garden or beside a fence next year. Not to shady, most farm products do better in open sun, most leaves have hundreds of little solar pannel sugar factories to make sugar for the plant to consume.
seems chineese restrants would have them, rgg roles, I've never tried them. Think there' one in oak ridge might just try some next week. might have something like a chineese platter, like sea food platter
