Re: [epilepsy] question about Lorazapam

yes I am 4 mg and yes it does do that but also makes me really sluggish after it wears off to a point and then at least i am able to walk. My Dr. put me at the dose I am st due to the fact that i have grand mals, and it pulls me out of the seizures faster.   But in the long run i am so tied and sluggish I am not able to function for at least 2-3 days regular.

Subject: [epilepsy] question about Lorazapam

Hi
My son Zack 14 years had a seizure last wednesday afternoon. Our neurologist prescribled Lorazapam for to be given to bring him out of the seizure as he tends to go from one into another. It worked however the dose was 2.0 and stayed into his system way into Thursday. He was unable to wlak straight and was heavily drugged I only gave him one of the pills but according to the dosage I could have given him one to two. That seems excessive to me...but before I call her I thought I'd see if anyone else typically takes this much.....he is about 5'4'' and
about 130 lbs.
