Erin,
I don't see why your boyfriend would be embarassed about your seizures if he
cares about you as much as he should. If he does not want to be with you
when you have a seizure in public places, he is not worth the time to waste
on him. He sure doesn't think about if he ever got down and needed somebody
to be by his side and take care of him without worry about what anybody else
thinks. My boyfriend has been at my side and he knew about the seizures years
before. They didn't make a difference back then and they don't now. He has
dealt with his own health problems over the years and we deal with them and
watch out for each other. I used to have the seizures in the night like that
years ago;my neurologist put me on medicine to help me sleep through the
night. Every now and then I have one at night, but most of my seizures
happen during the day. When I have a seizure during the night, I usually
don't sleep the rest of the night. Take care of yourself and if you need
anything write anytime.
