Okay...I don't have the best memory, but I do know that this subject has become a dead horse. Please...if this interests you, PM Craig about it and keep it off the forum. The fact is that most of us don't have this problem.. It's essentially a "special interest," so please restrict its discussion as such.
Thank you.

Hello new people. Some or most of you may not know the dangers of the foods you or your child can eat that "could cause or create a seizure or seizure diagnoses falsely". That's what I believed happened to me in 1961 but of course I can not prove that, just my gut instinct about it all. However in the past 17 years I know more things now than ever before then when I started to watch everything I ate before and after brain surgery in 2001. I was on Dilantin & Meberal for my 1st 26 years of life after trying phenobarbital before that. After 26 years I went back on the pheno then later tegretol as I took it as a teenager in the hot summer months and it did help me reduce the auras I had then. All of that to say no medicine really stopped me from having auras that could had been Grand Mals. I knew then foods like hot dogs gave me auras along with whole milk, some cheeses and some ice cream brands bothered me as a kid as I had auras.
Mothers,,, Listen to your child if they should they tell you that. My mom thought I was crazy but I never cared what she thought as I knew how I was feeling and I was not having grand mals from the foods. She later realized I was right as the auras decreased but the Grand Mals increased after I was 35 years old. Can you see a pattern that could had been created from food chemicals like NITRATES and MONO SODIUM GLUTAMATE/ MSG ? Now after 41 years of my right side being affected, and 8 years later after surgery on the right temperlobe area, my left side seems like it could be at the stage my right side was at when I was 8 or 9 years old. But what do I really know, I'm no doctor. Unfortunately doctors do not live our lives to know 100% what our problem could be as they only push what the FDA and AMA may tell the most of them to treat us with this condition. The medicines listed for the TLE some have are some of the most expensive drugs on the
market as they all want us to take them for life. Never do any doctors consider what foods can do to us. www.sellingsalesman ship.com. msginfo/html That site will WARN you all the possible conditions that M S G had caused in infants, kids, teenages and adults who are affected from M S G and Nitrates as well. www.msgtruth. org www.truthinlabeling .org Those 2 sites will explain where if anywhere are safe places to eat out and all the other names that are used to replace the words MonoSodiumGlutamate in the foods we all eat. I am very carefull as I am always looking at the ingrediants on the back or side of a package, box or can. Here's another point I can make and questioned for a long time. If nitrates or M S G can, and they do cause seizures to occur, ""I'm living proof of that"", a person at any age goes to the doctor for the first time ever because of a seizure event, The doctor says the person has epilepsy and go on the seizure drugs.
Meanwhile the person eats the foods that triggers the seizure events, Should they or do they have to take the medicines and watch more what they eat to keep from having a seziure event or brain attack ? Should that case have been diagnosed as that person having epilepsy ? This happens more than we think it does and the people are the medical doctors and FDA victims because they will not be honest with some people like me who have figured out a few things over the years. One day I will be off lamictal and all medicnes forever. I may do it at my own will to prove to the doctor I do not need any drug that really makes me depressed some along with the few other side affects from the small 75mg dose I am on. If I had to take 750mgs I would never think of going off the lamictal. Considering I weigh 220 lbs taking 75mgs with no real problems since surgery, I proves could live life safely taking 0mgs and feeling better mentaly at the same time. I
remember those 10 months without medicne in my life. I can only emagine now I that can be again. And to think M S G and Nitrates caused me to type all of this.
