As I understand insulin plays a very important role in this. Eating carbs causes increase of blood sugar and due to this insulin, then afterwards blood sugar is getting low and hunger starts, you will eat carbs and so on and on and on. You surely can google for this, I cannot recommend any books available in the U.S.( I cannot believe I explain this in English!) For me LC is the solution, but LC meals can be very tasty but high caloric... which leads to Fast-5.
