Marshiie51, One thing I didn't know about even after Megan was
diagnosed was what partial seizures were or what they looked like. I
think most people in the world are aware of generalized tonic clonic
seizures and absense seizures and don't even know there is such a
thing as simple or complex partial seizures. What needs to happen is
that law enforcement and other people at schools, colleges and
paramedics need to be taught about all types of seizures, what they
look like and what should and should not be done when a person is
having a seizure. I really believe that it is ignorance that causes
these problems, not any malice.
