It is common for epileptic seizures to manifest themselves without the knowledge of the Epileptic having such symptoms. The after effects are, as in your case, weakness in walking are just as common. I have seen the case you describe about yourself very often and in my view there is nothing abnormal about such symptoms. It all centers around which
group(s) of brain cells become overactive which dictates the symptoms and progression of symptoms in seizures in Epileptics and whether they be known as having been made manifest or not.
You mentionned something else. I am not fully aware of this topic. But it is factual that not all seizures are caused by overactive brain activity. I was put on a medication for something other than Epilepsy without being told that seizures were a side effect albeit a minute side effect and augmented chance of this side effect existing in Epileptics and others with lower than normal tolerance to convulsions such as Epileptics. The medication in question here is Seroquel which is not an anticonvulsant medication. Fortunately I did not become victim to this side effect but I am off of it because of another side effect.

> Hi everyone. I suffer from seizures and I am not aware of them when it hapens is the normal. Yesterday while walkin into a building I had a hard time walking and later had a seizure tha lasred about 5 to 7 nin. I also have what they call a peripheral vestibular weakness that was caused by heavy doses of srong antobiotics, does are have any else have this problem and has been diagoisedwith seizure from an unknow cause as the can find no reason for my seizures. Thanks for all he wonderful information that is posted on here. Fred in San Antonio.
