[epilepsy] Re: Introduction and Questions

Rachel,
Thanks for the information. I live in western Mass. Around Pittsfield or Westfield depending upon if it is school season or not. I see Dr's at my local hospital but I never trust them there they are always messing up for one reason or another. I'm thinking of switching to another Dr at Baystate in Springfield where my diabetes Dr is.

I am currently 20 years of age and have just been placed on medication for having epileptic seizures. I started having them when I lived in DC about the age of 18/19. I had many of them over the course of a few months then all of a sudden they stopped and I didn't have another one for over a year. during that whole time however I was never placed on any sort of medication. My epilepsy is dormant and something, they think my type 1 diabetes, provokes it from coming out of being dormant then after the seizure it goes back into being dormant. I live in Mass. does anyone know about the Diving laws here at all? Also my older brother was very curious to know about any natural ways to help with the epilepsy?
