Hi.....My name is Suz and I have had EP for 3 yrs.  Ask his doctor what TRIGGERS his seizures so he knows what situations to avoid; i.e., I can go to concerts anymore, I can't get neck messages anymore or be around strong chemicals or be on the computer w/out a break, etc.  I am on Lamictal and Trileptol as the Trileptol wasn't working as I had a seizure while driving.  Even though NJ has a law that U can drive after 6 months...I am waitign a full year as I was seizure free for a year and then I had another seizure while driving.  My doc also said that stress and lack of sleep was key in my seizures.

I wanted to thank everyone for their suggestions and personal stories. It really helped me to read other peoples experiences and advice. His appt. went well and he gets to drive again already. I will probably pop back in as more questions arise, but I wanted you all to know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Robin
