Update:
I thought I would try the 5-10 window to see if that would push me past the plateau. I gained two pounds in the week that I did it, and didn't like eating that late.
I think I may be at some sort of "set point" where my body really resists going lower. So I'm back to 3-8, which works well for me. I don't like going to sleep on a full stomach. It made me feel yucky in the morning.
I have started with a no grain, no sugar approach this week. just going to make a goal to do it for 4 weeks.
I am still eating potatoes and quinoa, which probably isn't that great, but we'll see how it goes.

Charlie,
My eating window is similar to yours. What's wonderful about Fast5 is it's simplicity and adaptability. No two days are alike. 1pm is my target time for my 1st meal. But sometimes I'm want to eat earlier, and other times I'm so busy my break-fast is pushed back as late as 3:30pm.
So long as I'm eating nourishing real food I do fine. And when I have birthday cake with my granddaughter I enjoy every bite and don't beat myself up about it. Same with fried foods. Last night I fried okra from my small garden and salmon patties. My other meal had been a large bowl of homemade miso soup. I'm losing weight eating this way, mostly eating moderately and healthy, but occasionally having fried foods or heavy desserts.
