Okay so very few men dress like this and most certainly not ultra conservative JW men. I spent 7 years in the truth (as a JW)  and usually you cant tell a JW from any other man.  Prince is naturally contrary to any type of constraint and has always done things his way.  Makeup and girly clothes are all part of the Hollywood persona that he has built for himself.  It is in my opinion all part of the job and his personality.

I would actually think it would be in the reverse, on stage "performance" you could be a bit more out there, and then when the light go out you dress down, if it's in connection with JW moderation
 
From 2006, 2007 till now, I've seen images of Prince out on the town so to speak especially in Europe, showing more of who he is

Also Christine, we should keep in mind that with him being a Jehovah's Witness, there are certain ways of dressing and being and I believe with P toning it down with the tailor made suits that that speaks to where he is "now". I agree, when he's home it's a different story but he's been wearing nicely cut suits for over 10yrs now.

He prob trying to look more biz like instead of more royal like...

What he does behind close doors...I bet you that suit jacket comes off.
