Re: [epilepsy] non driver

Well not driving is a big issue, I work full time and now more than ever I need to keep the insurance.  My sweet husband has been driving me but I have work hours that are terrible so that sure doesnt help.  He is retired and he has been so wonderful about this but to do this  long term I just dont know.

I have a long term disability plan thru work since you have been on disability I wonder if that might be an option.  I have a while til medicare is an option

My late husband was on disabilty and it wasnt fun for him at all.  He has a liver transplant and didnt survive but 3 years witih that but was on disability for 10 years.

I am very depressed with this situation for me to say the least.  I cant see long term success at all.

Subject: [epilepsy] non driver

I understand. I worry I may have to stop driving, working, and going anywhere again. Last time I was on disability when me seizures were out of control. My hubby would come home tried from working didn't feel up to going anywhere. But I wanted to go anywhere. When we would go to store i would be so tired couldn't go in with him. lamictal worked wonders for me for 5 years or so About 3 months ago I started having seizures again not grand mal at least. Last 3 weeks been on lamictal 600mg daily plus 2000 mg keppra day. I still having some tremors headaches and such but better that seizure. Last night I started feeling activities so took ativan went to sleep about 45 min later and feel a little hung over now but no seizure I have been busy and forget to eat which is a big no no. So lunch time
