MarieA,
I think the problem could be close to mine. I forget the question unless it's printed then I can re-read over the area again and again. But,if a person asks a question,it takes along time to find the answer in my memory, then after it's remembered, the brain takes its time sending the words to the voice-box. I think my problem maybe what's referred to as Verbal-memory loss.

Subject: [epilepsy] "slow learner'
I hate to put everyone in sepeate little boxes. Question what really is a slow learner (me I think) seems to me learn one thing and forget 2. so i wonder is it that i am just slow, is it the seizures, the meds, or worse a mixture of all 3.Maybe I'm not slow what if rest of the world is to fast. Sounds much better doesn't it. I am a good LPN working in a nursing center for years. But I study for pre-req for RN and seem I am lost any Ideas tricks does anyone else have these issues
