Re: [epilepsy]forgot my meds when traaveling

I've forgotten my meds a few times when I went home to Ohio. I went to the local pharmacy in Ohio and they called my pharmacy here in IN . they gave them the RX and I had my meds immediately.

I did have to get a new prescription when I got back home-- but didn't have to go without my meds.

Subject: [epilepsy] Re: new medication - Zonisamide

I lived in an apartment in St. Louis for about a year and a half, many years ago. One time, I got back to the apartment after being home for a weekend, and I forgot my meds (was on Dilantin and Depakote at the time). I had mom send me some through the mail. She sent it in an envelope, and when I got it, some of the pills had broken. I cleaned the unbroken ones off as much as I could, but I could still taste the powder from the broken ones on them. YUCK! :p Next time that happened, she got a tube from the post office and sent them in it.

Moral to the story is: If you have to send pills through the mail, don't send them in an envelope! haha
