Re: [epilepsy] Need suggeston

She's only taken that one drug? (FWIW everybody: "Oxytol" is the name of
oxcarbazepine in India, sold as "Trileptal" in the U.S.)

What other medicines are available there? Do they have Lamictal
(lamotrigine) or Keppra (levitiracetam)? Those two are still under patent,
and only available as name-brands in the U.S., so I don't know. I have no
idea what the epilepsy scene is like in India.)

But I'm pretty sure that generics should be available anywhere in the world
for Depakote (valproic acid) or Dilantin (phenytoin) or Lyrica (neurontin).
It depends on whether a given country has approved them to be imported and
sold. Even if they haven't submitted an ANDA required for sales in the U.S.,
Chinese manufacturers are probably selling these things the world over. They
make everything there.

What part of her brain would they take out? Do you know? Is it cheap? Maybe
I should go to India if I get surgery.
