[epilepsy] Re: seizures that others don't notice

Hello
I used to have seizures like that when I was shopping and then it did get noticed by other people. They lasted longer, I would move my hands, and be so forgetfull that I couldn't use my debit card or write a check. If I didn't have cash I just had to leave without being able to buy stuff.
The people at the register could tell something was wrong so they didn't get upset with me and sometimes they had another worker take me somewhere to sit down and save my stuff at customer service untill I could remember.
I hope it never gets like that for you.
Mine kept getting worse and worse so I had surgery
in Feb. Now I don't have to about what might happen when I'm out in public.

I was able to pay and everything and felt fine physically afterward. I know it wasn't more than a couple of seconds. I don't remember feeling like I was out but more like I am aware of coming back.

Get out the debit card, put it through the machine and stand there and do nothing before putting in my pin and writing my name on the machine. Like I just stand there and do nothing between each step. Wonder if it would be any easier if it were something people could notice and be more patient to give me a minute to finish.

And even that doesn't work if it is mild. It helps with the few severe headaches and pains I get but if it's mild it doesn't do anything. Weird.
