do you people understand when i was living at home i didn't have much a choice to leave the bathroom door open half way open since the bathroom was way down the the hallway, if i just left the bathroom door unlocked it wouldn't helped me since my mother couldn't help me if i went into a seizure in the bathtub while taking a bath, so it was best for me to leave the bathroom door open half way open. i know that it should not be open but that is the only way my mother could hear me going into a seizure since the bathroom is a long way down the hallway.

I didn't know that. If it was caused by a head injury in one generation, can that be passed to the next? I have heard of babies can have a seizure but usually grow out of them. Are these also hereditary? Thanks for the clarification.

Actually, CBI, there is a hereditary tendency for epilepsy. It
doesn't mean that your kids will definitely have epilepsy, just that
the likelihood is higher than in the general population.
