[epilepsy] Medicine brands

I have been taking Lamictal for years and have no problems from the generic untill a few weeks ago when the pharmacist started getting it from a different company. That's when the headaches started. I thought maybe it was like getting used to a new dose or something and that they would stop but they haven't. The only pain killer that works is Tylenol 3 prescription and that only works for severe ones. They don't happen a lot. It's the almost daily mild ones that are driving me nuts. Nothing works for them. I don't know why pain killers don't do anything for the mild headaches.

And then I started getting this feeling in my arm. It's just this weird ache and sort of like being consciously aware of my arm being there. Today my legs feel all jittery and like they are about to jump out of their skin. I'm having a little more problems with coordination.

I asked the pharmacist what he had been using and he said it was Teva but they couldn't get it from them anymore. So I tried another place and they said they could get it from Teva. But when I get the prescription there it didn't look the same as what I had been getting or what my first phamacist had switched to using.

Anyone know what brand the generic Lamictal is that is blue and I think 6 sided for the 200 mg and the 25 mg ones are small white 6 sided? I don't understand why I was told it was Teva company and then when I went to the second pharmacy who gets it from there it didn't look like the ones the first pharmacy had gotten before.

I don't know how many of you are familiar with Asperger's Syndrome (a form of Autism) but I have AS and these new feelings from this brand of medicine, along with other things in my life, are making it harder to fight meltdowns.

I hope everyone here is doing well. Sorry to disappear for so long.
