I was told that an hour before or after is ok.
Should you miss altogether or not sure do not double up. The best thing to do is make sure someone is with
you in case you are unstable or show signs of a seizure. Don't have to call Dr. in that case just have someone
with you to watch. You may not have anything at all and be ok. Should this be the case wait until the next
dose before taking.
Best to wait than overdose and get in real trouble. I have often wondered too 'did I take'. Just take easy
and have someone with me. All ok.
Learned this from not only Dr. but from Group Home that worked in where a lot had seizures and you have to
know all the rules and regulations for them there.

Subject: [epilepsy] Should I take my night dose?
This morning I was walking to church and thought I forgot my medicine. So I took some from my purse that I
keep for emergencies.
I got home and saw that I had taken it after all.
Not sure if it is relevant but last Wednesday I had forgotten my night dose. I think it was Wednesday. So
Thursday I took an extra half dose morning and night and have had no problems
Should I take my night dose? All? Half?
