RE: [epilepsy] Re: Some advice wanted on my seizure yesterday

Hi

Yes I am going to try and get him to refer me to a neuro
specialist, it is about time.

Regards

Adrien

Seeing your Dr. and telling him what you told us
sounds like a good idea.

Hi Doris

Ok thanks for your support, yes I know there are lots of
people who can relate to my problems so that is why I ask on
here. I know the light affects me but I didn't realise until
yesterday how annoying the bright light can be. I have sun
glasses but being totally blind, I don't think to wear them.
Also I sit at my pc and often in the dark and leave the
lights off but the light on my laptop aggravates me but I
don't think about it although I can see it, I can tell
between light and dark, although I am blind. it just slips
my mind if you know what I mean. It is hard to explain but
yesterday worried me a bit. Next week I have an appointment
with my doctor I think I should tell him about all these
problems, see what he suggests. He in the past has said my
epilepsy needs checking out as it hasn't been done for a
long time.

Regards

Adrien

Hi Adrien,
I ache for you. Gosh that will not help much,
but I want you to know we are all together in our own
ways and experiences. Post a seizure, I can relate
to the day of being muzzy and I find a lot of sleep
helps. I wonder if you have tried sunglasses to
help in part with the difficulty of briteness causing
both discomfort and a frequent hard thing to deal with.
Remember there are so many who can relate to what you
are saying.
Take care.
Sincerely, Doris
