Susan, there are people who specialize administering and interpreting various mental and psychological tests. If you think this doctor will use the tests he administered to keep you from driving, you should get your own testing done by someone who specializes in these tests. If you want help in finding someone in your area, send me a private email, and I'll see what I can find on the net for you. Independent testing can be used to counter test interpretations you feel are inaccurate or unfair. It can also be used if you feel that your child has problems that are not being recognized by the professionals in school. We did that with Megan. Because she was always well-behaved in school, no one was picking up on her severe ADD problem, so we had her independently tested. It will cost money, but like the tests your doctor administered, may be covered by insurance. We went through a psychologist who recommended the testing.
Maybe next time, I won't just use three words ;-)
