surgery is an option to control or try to rid one of epilepsy. I myself had
surgery. There is serval tests bone.
one is a video eeg monitoring test where you are in a hospital hooked up to
an eeg for about 5 days or more.
a typical mri might be ordered. a cat scan maybe a wada test is done this
is to try and pinpoint where your memory is. epilepsy surgery is only done
on those who after testing in a doctor and/or doctors opinion the positives
far outweigh the negatives. but trying medications will always be a first.
I tried medication for over 26 years did not work had surgery in 1999 and
have been seizure free since. it takes a strong individual to live/cope
with epilepsy I might be seizure free almost 13 years but the memories of the
seizures I will never forget. (used to have around if not more then 50
seizures per day) hope this helps.

don't communicate well with my dr. seizures seem to be ruining my life
about 3 years ago when I went with my boyfriend at culvers I had a gran mal
