Re: [fast5] back again

For GERD:

Someone suggested d-limonene to me and you know what? It WORKS GREAT.
Doesn't mess up your digestion, it's cheap, and considered harmless
in reasonable doses. But it kills GERD. It also seems to help
digest a meal ... I started taking one in the morning (when my stomach
sometimes feels queasy) and one with my meal. Causes one to burp
just a little, in a burp that smells like orange peel, but other than
that, no side-effects.

It is sold in two formats: a packet of 10 pills (to take one every other
day for GERD) and just as a bottle of 60 pills. The 60 pills are a WAY
better deal.

For metabolism:

MCT oil is said to work very well ... you have to start slow with it
but you can use it instead of your regular cooking oil.

Fish protein stimulates the metabolism more than beef protein,
and esp. more that poultry. I found this out when I was in college:
poultry would make me sleepy, but I had read an article that said
fish protein actually makes your brain work faster. Worked to
get me through finals anyway!

Turmeric is a stimulator.

Leafy greens, esp. with vinegar. AKA a big green salad.

B vitamins

Avoiding allergens ... the most common (in this order) are
wheat, dairy, soy, corn. If you are eating foods you are reacting
to, it causes you to secrete too much cortisol, which messes up
your metabolism big time. Also wheat can autoimmune issues
which are problematic (the immune system attacks the thyroid).

OK, I had a bad case of GERD mid month in February. Prior to that, I managed a full 60 days with fast 5.  I felt great.  Didn't lose more than a pound or two though and I kind of stayed "bloated".

I measured my water intake...and was doing well with that.
I ate basically a low carb diet between 3 and 8pm every evening.

I want to go BACK to this as I really did feel well doing it.
And I had so much more control than I had ever had.

So, my question is this; how do you work your metabolism slow down...what are good metabolism stimulators OTHER than eating every few hours...that is just too much for me.

I can only exercise in spurts, 15 minutes at a time.
What  do you guys suggest.

I think FAST 5 is my way of eating for the rest of my life and I know I will be thin the rest of my life if I can get my metabolism burning at HIGH!

HELP please...
Any suggestions are welcome!
